# updateNameProfileRecords

Encodes profile changes, simulates the exact
`PermissionedResolver.multicallWithNodeCheck` request, and submits it.

## Import

## Usage

```ts [update-profile.ts]
const result = await updateNameProfileRecords(walletClient, publicClient, {

  changes,

```

## Parameters

### walletClient

`WalletClient`

The connected Viem wallet client.

### publicClient

`PublicClient`

The Viem client used for simulation and confirmation.

### parameters

## Return Type

`ResultAsync<ExecuteContractWritesResult, UpdateNameProfileRecordsErrorType>`

Invalid encodings return `INVALID_PROFILE_RECORDS`. A failed simulation returns
`PROFILE_UPDATE_SIMULATION_FAILED`.

## Error

Returns profile encoding, permission, simulation, wallet, confirmation, or
revert error codes.

## Prepare

`prepareNameProfileRecordsWrite` simulates and returns the prepared resolver
multicall without opening the wallet. See
